Puma

Puma attempts to explain its involvement in the Israeli National Teams Again. Still keeping Puma out of our shopping carts

In September 2021, Puma Canada and North America received over 1,000 individual letters, along with a registered letter from the organizations supporting “Canadians calling on Puma to end its sponsorship of the Israel Football Association.”  Several pickets were held in Vancouver in recent weeks.

It seems perhaps Puma is on th defensive wishing to try to explain away it involvement with the Israeli National Teams.

#BoycottPuma Round Two

Last June, the Canada BDS Coalition joined groups in more than 20 countries joined the first Global #BoycottPuma Day of Action, with protests at Puma shops and offices and at Puma-sponsored teams. On social media, #BoycottPuma was THE most tweeted Puma-related hashtag that day.

Take the Pledge: Give PUMA the Boot Until It Ends Support for Illegal Israeli Settlements

Puma sponsors the Israel Football Association (IFA), which includes teams in illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian land in violation of international law.

Puma’s endorsement of the IFA gives legitimacy to Israel’s illegal settlements pushing Palestinian families off their land.

As long as Puma sponsors teams in illegal Israeli settlements, I will respect the call from Palestinian athletes to boycott Puma.
