November 5-8, the second annual Canada Israel Fashion Week is taking place in Toronto, after earlier dates in Montreal.
Canadian Israel Fashion Week (CIFW) showcases Canadian and Israeli designers, artists, and businesses – and helps “the much underfunded Israeli and Canadian Creative Industries”.
In other words, it supports the art-washing of Israel’s genocide, apartheid, and illegal occupation.
CIFW raises funds for Canadian Hadassah-WIZO, a registered Canadian charity that funds programs in Canada and Israel.
Boycott these events, designers, and participants. Say no to art-washing! And no to tax-subsidies for programs in Israel.
