WSP: Stop Occupation Projects

Join a “month of action” this October to tell WSP, a Quebec-based company involved in projects in Palestine, Kashmir, on Turtle Island, and beyond, to STOP OCCUPATION PROJECTS.

What is WSP?

WSP is a Canadian, Quebec-based, company that provides technical expertise and strategic advice on construction and infrastructure. WSP Global is a major participant in Israel’s settler colonial apartheid regime and unlawful occupation in Palestine. It is the project manager for the Jerusalem Light Rail (JLR) and supported the Tel-Aviv Jerusalem Fast Train (A1) project located in unlawfully annexed and occupied Jerusalem.  They are also significantly involved in the ongoing occupation of Kashmir, through their construction of the Chenab railway bridge.
One unique thing about WSP is their vast number of Canadian offices and projects. WSP has over 100 offices in Canada and about 150 projects listed on their site as ongoing in Canada. WSP’s projects not only entrench occupation elsewhere, they do so on the stolen Indigenous land we call Canada.

You can learn more about WSP through the recent report from Just Peace Advocates, Al-Haq, and Kashmir Law & Justice Project, “From Palestine to Kashmir: WSP Global Entrenches Occupation and Apartheid

How do I get involved?
  • Plan an action at your local WSP office and/or a WSP project site
  • Endorse the campaign and amplify on social media
  • Hand out flyers and other materials provided by the Campaign (or your own, but we will provide a toolkit)
We are planning the campaign for one month to give orgs the flexibility to plan actions at times that work best for them and to prolong the focus on WSP.

You can register an action directly to Action Network (or email us and we will upload the event information to Action Network). If you are unable to plan an action or do not have a WSP project/office in your area, we would love for you to endorse this campaign. You can do so by filling out this form.
