The RBC Ottawa International CSI5* CSI2* will be held Aug 14 – 17, 2025, at Wesley Clover Parks, referred to as the “Home of the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments.” In 2025, Wesley Clover Parks is the only venue in Canada, and just one of three venues in North America, that are hosting international equestrian competitions across all three Olympic disciplines.

The Ottawa tourism website says “Experience four days of world-class equestrian sport…Watch top riders and horses compete for the championship title at the pinnacle of show jumping.”
Among those riders is Daniel Bluman riding for Israel. He is no stranger to the event, having placed 9th last year.
RBC is the founding sponsor of the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments and Wesley Clover Parks. Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments, RBC, Wesley Clover Parks and Tourism Ottawa should have the political foresight, maturity, and the moral capacity to refuse what is business as usual.
The RBC Ottawa International CSI5* CSI2* does not occur or exist outside the context of Israel’s egregious actions and ongoing genocide. If Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments, RBC, Wesley Clover Parks and Tourism Ottawa proceed with allowing Israel to be part of the RBC Ottawa International CSI5* CSI2*, all will be complicit with sports-washing. This event is nothing more than an effort to launder the reputation of a state committing genocide and guilty of illegal military occupation and apartheid.
