The following is a report on the work of the Canadian BDS Coalition during 2024.
We are a 25+ member national organization with regional and local groups from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. In 2024, we became an international organization when groups from abroad including South Africa, Palestine and Tunisia joined.
Canadian organizations came together in 2016 to form the Canadian BDS Coalition in response to the call from Palestinian Civil Society to support a global movement for boycott, divestment and sanctions.
The Canadian BDS Coalition and International BDS Allies is composed of pro-Palestine solidarity groups across Canada and internationally. We work independently in support of boycott, divestment and sanctions activities against Israel, within the Canadian context, and with international allies, addressing local challenges and concerns.
