Laolaltă” (Together) for Palestine Festival

Cluj-Napoca, Romania

https://www.instagram.com/laolalta161/

Laolaltă (Together) for Palestine is an anti-authoritarian and autonomous festival. This is our 5th edition, dedicated to Palestine. Laolaltă brings together Palestine action groups from Romania and abroad. It is a meeting space created for us to become stronger in our fight against genocide. To speak up about and make visible the complicity of states, universities and corporations that support Isr*el and the genocidal army. To directly oppose these complicities. To think together and take the steps towards a world where Palestine is free. We come together for 10 days to strengthen our efforts for a free Palestine.

We want to discover and sow new possibilities for action in opposing the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank. To share and explore what solidarity with Palestine looks like for each of us, collectively and individually. To gather resources that will go directly to Palestinian individuals and communities. Together.

IG: @abaslefeminismecolonial

UQAM, Tiohtiá:ke [Montréal]

the room has yet to be confirmed/check our instagram abaslefeminismecolonial

Vigil to Honor the Martyred Journalists

CBC Toronto

Ontario Palestinian Rights Association + Mississauga Streetsville For Palestine

https://www.instagram.com/ontariopalestinianra/

https://www.instagram.com/ms4p_community/

Join us on October 11, 2024, at 6 PM (EST) for a vigil dedicated to honouring and remembering the 167 journalists whom have been murdered for their role in documenting and reporting on the ongoing genocide in Palestine since October 7, 2023.

In addition to remembering the martyred journalists and media workers, this gathering also aims to shed light on the complicity of Canadian news media, organizations, and institutions in the ongoing genocide.

Organized by local groups in the Greater Toronto Area, this vigil is a call for solidarity and accountability. Let us gather to remember the fallen, amplify their voices, and demand accountability.
